Thai Resumes
There is a lot of information on a Thai resume, even some you wouldn’t dare to ask for. Girls, like guys, are not reluctant to mention their size, weight, religion and health condition (good!).
Girls often mention that they are single (the youngest ones). And sometimes that they don’t smoke.
In a country where there is no discrimination law for employment and where an employer can mention almost everything he wants in a job ad (sex, age, and why not size, weight or religion?), applicants chose to be direct.
Resumes are not as formal as in Europe, except for those who have studied abroad. Email addresses are often different from the usual firstname.lastname @ hotmail/yahoo. They’re more the kind of addresses you use for social networks and dating websites like pretty_bee@hotmail.com or loli83@yahoo.com.
Also, candidates don’t hesitate to send emails of more than 3 MB including resume, picture, diploma copies and a few references scanned in high definition. That’s quite a lot for your mail box!
I had to add on my job posts: “Please don’t send emails of more than 500 KB. School and Diploma transcripts are not needed.”

Your negotiation skills will be excellent as will your financial and commercial awareness. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, you will recruit and manage the Trade Sales Team. You will be required to travel frequently to trade shows and other inbound trade partners.
This role is extremely high-profile and you will be required to hit the ground running. Assertive, confident and highly numerate, you will be a total self-starter and hungry for progression.
