Pseudo: Sim100 - - 2008-07-10 :: King Vajiravudh Museum - King Vajiravudh Museum os organized as a token of respect to the King whose name is the title of the museum, for His Royal initiative in setting up the Suea Pa Group, which originates the department of territorial defense in the present time. The person who initiated the organization of the museum is lieutenant general Yut Sombun, former director-general of the territorial defense department, who requested for the royal attire and personal belongings of the King to be kept at Vajiravudh building on the department's ground. Later, lieutenant general Han Phethai, another former director-general, had a building in Suan Chao Chet park renovated and had a museum organized in it in an academic fashion. The museum was opened to the public in 1999. Inside is the display of the biography of the King, his important activities, the royal attire and his royal belongings and personal utensils.
